As an adjunct professor for Villanova University Six Sigma Masters Certificate Program, Karen trained over 15000 adult learners across multiple industries including military, information technology, manufacturing, financial services, education and healthcare in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for the university’s on-line Lean Six Sigma program. She taught Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, Master Black Belt and Lean courses, as well as developing and recording course content for over 100 video lectures for the University.

She is an ASQ certified Six Sigma Black Belt, hold’s a master’s degree in project management, and has 30+ years experience in the healthcare industry. She joined the faculty at ASQ to teach Black Belt and CQE Statistics, Introduction to Quality Engineering and Certified Quality Engineering Exam Prep

She has served as senior examiner/trainer for the Georgia Oglethorpe Award (state level Baldrige Award process), preliminary judge for the ASQ International Team Excellence Award, and was a contributing author in the book “Driving Operational Excellence”.
